ORIGIN

This GRAN YAPATERA chocolate is made with a cocoa bean that comes from northern Peru.

It is a very aromatic cocoa which gives an intense and not at all bitter chocolate.

The fruit notes are initially lively but very quickly become more compote (bananas). But it’s really its intense floral notes (jasmine) that give it its atypical taste that we love at PLAQ.

We like to talk about it as a smooth chocolate. We also use this chocolate with its floral sweetness to coat our candied fruits (ginger, chestnuts, pomelos).
