The story of Chuncho cocoa from Peru is one of rediscovery. After a first tasting in 2019 during a trip to the Peruvian mountains, and four years of work later, this bean's time has come.

Chuncho organic cocoa beans from Urubamba Peru (84%) and unrefined organic cane sugar from the state of São Paulo Brazil (16%). Without lecithin. No added cocoa butter.

Chuncho cocoa comes from 15 ecosystems of the sacred Urubamba Valley in Peru, in the Cusco region.

It is one of the oldest and richest in aroma beans in the world.

Coming from a mountainous terroir, cultivated at altitude, the Chuncho cocoa bean reveals a typicity which makes it sweet at high percentages...

A bean of rare and vital genetics that was on the verge of extinction just a few years ago due to the increasing number of abandoned farms. Today, thanks to the interest and support of local organizations, partners and chocolatiers, more than 90 families actively cultivate this uniquely flavored bean.
