Sambirano Tsarafandray chocolate is balanced and harmonious thanks to its round fruity notes of red and black berries (blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry).

Organic Tsarafandray cocoa beans from Sambirano, Madagascar (84%), and organic blond cane sugar from the State of São Paulo, Brazil (16%). Cocoa solids 84% minimum. No lecithin. No added cocoa butter.

In the heart of the high mountains of the Sambirano Valley, in northwestern Madagascar, grow the cocoa trees of the TSARAFANDRAY cooperative. This region benefits from a unique microclimate, shaped by the trade winds and the surrounding mountain range. The producers cultivate cocoa in a sustainable agroforestry system, without chemical fertilizers, amidst mango, banana, vanilla, pineapple, and pepper trees, preserving biodiversity and the natural richness of the soil.

Located nearly three hours by motorcycle from the nearest town,
TSARAFANDRAY is one of those remote cooperatives where each harvest is the result of meticulous work and know-how passed down through generations. The cacao there develops a delicate aromatic profile, with fruity and floral notes, characteristic of the Sambirano terroir.
This agricultural model actively contributes to the preservation of the Sambirano rainforest. Supported by the Rainforest Alliance, producers reforest, protect soils, and restore fragile natural areas. In exclusive partnership with TSARAFANDRAY and its 47 producers, Silva Cacao supports a sustainable local supply chain based on fair prices, access to clean water and solar energy, and a resilient rural economy.

Thus, Sambirano cocoa embodies much more than an exceptional product: it is the symbol of an alliance between tradition, sustainability and excellence, where each bean tells the story of a preserved land and a collective commitment to a fairer future that respects nature.
